Thankyou Debby but in your reply there is no content of the former mail so it is only that it was just a few minutes ago that I remembered what you were talking about. As I receive some 150-180 messages a day it is very hard to know what people are talking about if the reply does not a contain a copy of the previous message. I hope this makes sense ? As I understood it, digest meant that the messages would be combined and the list administrator would send them out as a block of messages every now and again, say once a week. On the other hand, to read messages as a list meant each message would be sent out to every subscriber as they were posted. I asked to read the messages on the message board one at a time. They come straight into my Outlook Express Inbox. That way, I can reply to a single message by simply hitting my reply button on the tool bar. If you receive your messages in digest form, you cant do this. (Question to the list administrator have I understood this correctly? If not, could you please clarify.) When you reply to a message, the body of the original message remains in the message pane, more often below the answer you give. If this doesnt fully answer your question, perhaps the list administrator would post something to help us all.
