    3. Before you rush off and hope that the film with your data on is complete at the LDS centers you need to realise that The Church of Latter Day Saints has an exstensive collection of Catholic parish registers on microfilm, made up partly of copies of some of the National Library Films ( Ire) and partly of material microfilmed by the Church itself. Of the 1,153 parishes in the Country ( Ireland) the LDS library has only records of 398 of these parishes. This information being given to me in 2006, at the NLI ireland. But that does not mean you should not do as Debby has suggested below **** > Microfilms of the Irish civil registrations of birth and death from > 1864 and marriage from 1845 can be ordered into, and are available to > be inspected at, the church of the Latter Day Saints (LDS) family > history centres.
