    2. ohhhh......Thank you, Alma, for all the answers to my questions. I was hoping against hope....but it would be looking for a record that does not exist as this was a RC marriage. I did look at church records at the NL in Dublin....for 4 RC parishes....found most of the baptisms....but no 1861 marriage for Thomas/Jane and no 1862 birth/baptism for my 'John'.
