Al Hi! Thanks for your note Al - the family is Protestant so searching with LDS for the marriage record is okay except that it's a bit of a shot in the dark approach because the information of their children is sketchy. I know that David Creighton Williams was born in 1849 and his sister Jessie Creighton was born in 1853. It's possible that Richard and his wife were married between 1845 and 1849, or it's also possible that David and Jessie are the last of many children and the marriage would have been earlier than 1845. It's these little puzzles that tweak my brain every so often at 3:00 in the morning! If you think of anything else I'd love to hear from you!
