Thank you, Anthony, for responding concerning the C of I on College Green. I hope I have good luck finding what I am looking for. In visiting Dublin, I would like to visit the barracks location where my great great grandfather served in the Royal Artillery. Old letters I have mention the area as Island Bridge but checking out the map, there are several old barracks in that area. Does anyone have an idea where the Royal Artillery would have been headquartered in the 1820's. On modern maps Island bridge will be shown as 'Clancy' Barracks - better hurry though - it is being redeveloped as we speak, but you will get to see most of it Regards Anthony
