Hi Debby Yes I am subscribed to list mode but most of the time if I just try to reply it does to the list and so does so many other messages that I do not have a clue about and have to spend much time looking at messages that I am not in the least bit interested in. Receiving about 100 messages a day it all becomes very time consuming. Regards from Valerie in sunny Sydney. As I understood it, digest meant that the messages would be combined and the list administrator would send them out as a block of messages every now and again, say once a week. On the other hand, to read messages as a list meant each message would be sent out to every subscriber as they were posted. I asked to read the messages on the message board one at a time. They come straight into my Outlook Express Inbox. That way, I can reply to a single message by simply hitting my reply button on the tool bar. If you receive your messages in digest form, you cant do this. (Question to the list administrator have I understood this correctly? If not, could you please clarify.) When you reply to a message, the body of the original message remains in the message pane, more often below the answer you give. If this doesnt fully answer your question, perhaps the list administrator would post something to help us all.
