Hi Michael Can't find ant Anne's cottages in the directories - that does not mean they did not exist, two possibilities to try. 1 Valuation office http://www.valoff.ie/ or Dublin City Council public lighting maps http://www.dublincity.ie/living_in_the_city/libraries/index.asp If you need help on the ground here get back (Yes, Anne Street is very near York Street) Hope you and yours are well. I am just back from two weeks in Wales and England, the week in Wales was magnificent but I struggled with floods in Oxford and surrounding areas, but survived! Regards Anthony
Many thanks Anthony for the input on Anne Cottages. I would presume my grandfather was renting the cottage. I will try and give the links you mention a go. We are fine, glad you enjoyed the English 'summer'! Even where I live in Staffordshire the floods have been horrendous. May I suggest a trip to the doctors to check for webbed feet ! <grin> Regards, Michael ----- Original Message ----- From: "Anthony J.
