    3. This is excellent. I will now be so diverted that in spite of all the ripe blackberries calling out to be picked on a glorious sunny day, I may be riveted to my computer for the next several hours. 3. Nivard (what a great name - so much more unique than my name), For the past few years, I have been compiling swats of information on a range of JACKSONs from Ireland. My hunch is that many are inter-related, but in many cases, I am still short one generational link. When you refer to 531 hits on Ancestry, I am curious about which filters you may have used since 531 is a small enough number that I am not daunted (fool that I am!). I do have an Ancestry subscription (I finally succumbed), so I could easily follow up on this. Thanks, Sharon Sharon Oddie Brown, Roberts Creek, BC, Canada. She is buried in the grave of Arthur and Christianna Ffoulks Williams in Mt. Jerome. I wonder if she could have married one of Samuel's sons? There is a Mrs. S. Higginson at 8 Upper Gloucester St. in Dublin in 1833. Could this be Samuel's wife? Do you have a record of their sons and could one of them have married a Julianne Williams? I'm not even positive that Julianne is a child of Arthur...just guessing she is as she is buried with the family in a huge vault. I have not checked out the Higginson's buried in Mt. Jerome. Would Samuel have died before 1833? That could be why a Mrs. S. is listed and he isn't. Would love to have your thoughts on the above. 1. [DUBLIN-CITY] Dublin History & weather
    2. Sharon Oddie Brown
    3. This 18th century manuscript is the meticulous record by an early Dublin meteorologist, who documented the weather in the city on a daily basis during the period 1716 to 1734. The manuscript is part of the Gilbert Collection and is held in the Special Collections of Dublin City Public Libraries <http://www.dublincity.ie/RecreationandCulture/libraries/Heritage%20and%20History/Collections/Pages/index.aspx>. Until recently it was not known who the author of the work was, but thanks to the research of historian Alan Smyth the diarist has now been identified as Isaac Butler (c1691 -- 1755) http://www.dublincitypubliclibraries.com/story/diary-weather-and-winds -- Sharon Oddie Brown, Roberts Creek, BC, Canada. 3. I have a Julianne Higginson who was born in 1803 and died in 1840.
