    3. Hello again Valerie I don't know when my Daniel and Julia McAllister died in Dublin. They married in St Andrew's RC Church in 1839. I would be most grateful if you could look up the name McAllister in the 1877-1914 and see if by chance their names appear, if not then they would have died before 1877. Do you know if there is an index prior to 1877 perhaps. Thanks so much Maria Brisbane ----- Original Message ----- From: "Valerie Garton" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, April 03, 2007 11:24 PM Subject: Re: [IRL-DUBLIN-CITY] Mt Jerome Cemetery Books > Yes but when did they die ? > > Regards Valerie B Garton [ Mrs ]in sunny Sydney > A/Dip LAH & Dip FHS. > Researcher in Genealogy > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of Maria Mercer > Sent: Tuesday, 3 April 2007 9:32 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [IRL-DUBLIN-CITY] Mt Jerome Cemetery Books > > > Hi Valerie > Regarding my previous request for a lookup on my Daniel McAllister and > wife > Julia McAllister (nee Crow), they were married in 1839, not 1939. > Regards > Maria > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Valerie Garton" <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Tuesday, April 03, 2007 6:28 PM > Subject: Re: [IRL-DUBLIN-CITY] Cemetery Books > > >>I have sent a message to the list saying that I am happy to look for >> names in the Mt Jerome Cemetery Index 1877-1914 >> >> Regards Valerie B Garton [ Mrs ]in sunny Sydney >> A/Dip LAH & Dip FHS. >> Researcher in Genealogy >> >> -----Original Message----- >> From: [email protected] >> [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of Mary Anne >> Sent: Tuesday, 3 April 2007 5:14 PM >> To: [email protected] >> Subject: [IRL-DUBLIN-CITY] Cemetery Books >> >> >> Are there by any chance books that might have cemetery listings in >> them for >> the city of Dublin? I did find out from an inquiry that I posted to the RCB Library in Dublin (also last night) that Lesson Park did not have a burial ground, and one of the municipal burial places, such as Mt. Jerome or Glasnevin may have been the burial place for those who were members of Christ Church. I don't have any dates for the people I am looking for - just surnames at present. I am looking for Hanlons and Lairds. Specifically Thomas and Marion (Hanlon) Laird after 1902. Although other Hanlons may also be of interest. My connection is through Hanlons - of which I am one....
