Also I am looking for Joseph Reeves c1822, He emigrated via the British Army (30th foot) to England after 1843. Also in Dublin somewhere Henry Mahon born 1831 in Dublin, father also Henry, mother unknown. Ideally also a marriage for Joseph Reeves before 1843 and Henry Mahon before 1831 although this is rather too much to ask. Thanks Heather

    1. Re: [IRL-DUBLIN-CITY] COOKSTOWN????
    2. Ohh, Anthony, now my hopes are really up. I'm just back from Ireland and had some wonderful finds....My GrGr.Grandfather Thomas L'Estrange was born WM 1836 and enlisted in the DMP 1854. I found his parents marriage in 1827 up in WestMeath, Thomas's birth record and also five siblings. I was able to visit with the parish priest and to also see the site of Thomas' birth. My wish is to find HIS [Thomas']marriage which I did not find in WM. So this leads me to believe that he married a Dublin lass. Before I went to WestMeath and while in Dublin I went to the City Library on Pearse street and scoured the marriage index for an 1860-61 marriage between Thomas and Jane McKeon. One I found was listed at Cookstown, vol 4, page 210. Would that be Cookstown for marriage in Dublin? Or are the 'locations' listed in the BMD index's under the barony names? (((I'm prepared to learn that Cookstown is a barony in Ulster or some other unlikely cty. I'll be very disapointed. ))) Awaiting your reply, Anthony. And thank you so much. Janice Boston PS....I also found 3 baptisms at St. Kevins' plus a new addition, to that family...baby Michael! So I was really pleased to plump out the family tree. 1. [IRL-DUBLIN-CITY] Loughrey
    2. Looking for any information on the Loughrey family in Dublin around 1900. Thomas Loughrey married Mary Newell (I am not sure if this was in Dublin as she came from Co Offaly). Their children were James 1887, Mary 1885 (who married James Hunter in 1908 and had a daughter Mary in 1910) Annie 1886 (who married Thomas Moore) Bridget 1896 (who I believe married James Mulholland) Christina and Ellen (who married James Kirney). I am completely stuck with this family so any help of any sort very much appreciated. Thanks in anticipation. ___________________________________________________________ Tiscali Broadband only £9.99 a month for your first 3 months! http://www.tiscali.co.uk/products/broadband/
