> Cara, As far as I know, this was a new feature introduced for the 1940 US census, which has just recently been released for viewing online. I posted my message to this list because I thought some US researchers with Irish interests might see it here and not be subscribed to other US lists I post to. I don't know anything about the "modern" Irish censuses.
