Hi, St. Marys COI is in Mary street not far from St. Marys RC Pro-cathedral. If you have a look at the map, Mary street leads onto Henry st, then cross O'Connell st to North Earl st, continue walking for 3 minutes and you're at St. Marys RC Pro-cathedral. All the current COI St. Mary churches I find at <dublinchurches.com/churches/> are quite far from the city center where these people lived. My questions: 1. Is it possible that the database's RC and COI labels are incorrect for the churches involved? 2. Was this switching between RC and COI churches common? 3. Is it possible that Gardiner and Catherine were not able to have their children baptized RC after 1839 for some church-related reason? Any thoughts? Thanks.
