Hello all, I just found this old reference book, free online for viewing. The table of contents lists sections on apothecary to wood-comber. I found several interesting pages on both bricklayer and plumber, for example. I used the print-screen function to copy pages I want to keep and paste them in a Word document. The book of English trades, and library of the useful arts, by Sir R. Phillips. London: Stereotyped by G. Sidney, for R. Phillips; published by J. Souter, 1818. http://archive.org/stream/bookenglishtrad00unkngoog#page/n10/mode/2up PJ, in Texas
