Hello to Kaye, I am not sure what your information source is but I was wondering if it might have my paternal Great Grandmother's parents' business listed. John date of birth unknown, and Mary (Smith) Gallagher- born 1828, had a business at 32 Stoney Batter. Dad was always told they were in the Milnery business. My paper sources are several census records (1901 and 1911.) Mary Smith Gallagher was listed as a shopkeeper- age 70 in 1901. Mary's death certificate says she was a tobacconist and husband John Gallagher, died before 1901, was a Mason. One of the daughters Elizabeth was listed at that same address as a Dressmaker in 1901, and shopkeeper in 1911. Today it's a fireplace fixtures and accessories store. Any clues would be most appreciated! Susan
