Hi everyone, I am new to this list, and looking forward to meeting everyone. I am trying to research my husband's family tree, but although he comes from Cardiff, 3 of his grandparents were 1st, 2nd or 3rd generation immigrant Irish, which makes finding out things from here problematic. So we would welcome suggestions as to research possibilities over here, and also specifically, information on James DOYLE, b1864 in Co Dublin, m Mary Jane McCARTHY in South Glamorgan in 1895, and died not very long after the 1901 census, we think. I'm afraid we have no further information on him - he's just too far back for actual memory - but if anyone can tell us more we would be extremely. We do realise, though, that it may be like saying do you know John Smith in London! Thanks in advance, Carolyn
