I am looking for anyone linked to John Sarsfield Doyle who was born Ireland & left to Serve as a dragoon about 1809, I have a John Doyle Who Was with the 79th Dragoons for 21 yrs, He was Recruited in Dublin from the St John's Parish, Lanark, 24 Jan 1809 this John Served 21 yrs and 208 days My John Was Married 28 Apr 1811 to Mary Johnson @ Morpeth, Northumberland He was a mason and lived in newgate St, Morpeth till he died in Morpeth Work house 15 Apr 1859 Aged 68 if anyone has a John Sarsfield Doyle missing From Ireland who fits this one or Any one has a Doyle/Sarsfield Link please help me out or if you can link to the Solider from the 79th Dragoons and can tell me if that john was not mine please contact me James H Etheridge Eng-MORPETH List owner NDFHS membership No: 13687
