Hi all, I am trying to trace the family of Catherine Moore who was born in Dublin C1832. She was the daughter of Thomas Moore who is listed on her marriage certificate as a carpenter (her death certificate cites him as a dairyman). At the time of her marriage to William Welham on 3rd July 1858 in Perth, Western Australia, her occupation is listed as a servant. She was Roman Catholic. Catherine made her mark on her marriage certificate as did a Mary Moore (who may have been related). This is all I have to go on. I cannot find out when or why she came to Australia.
