Some of you might want to widen your searching to England. We recently found that, although our ancestor lived in County Down, his children went to Merchant Taylor's School in London and were also baptised there. This information was found in the Inhabitants of London - the entire family including his wife's name, the children's names and dates of birth, dates they attended the school and church of baptism! And all of this from the mid-1600's.
