Hello Listers, I am searching for information relating to the founders of the publishing company BROWNE and NOLAN. In 1873 Browne and Nolan, steam-press printers, paper merchants and manufacturing stationers were at 24 Nassau Street. They were also described as Paper Manufacturers and Dealers. My ancestor Anne THOMPSON, nee BROWNE, is possibly the Annie Thompson who witnessed the marriage of Michael NOLAN to Harriet Sybilla PARKER in Dublin on 27 June 1873. Two of Anne's THOMPSON sons married two of Harriet Parker's sisters, so the relationship between the Thompsons and Parkers is established. I am nevertheless interested in finding a possible link between her and the Browne family of Browne and Nolan.
