Morning list, are there census results for these years for Ireland? If so can anyone tell me if they are online or does anyone have access to them. I am searching for information on the following: ROBERT JOSEPH SHARP, born 1862, living in Dublin Ireland in 1884 (a public thanks to Brian for this) occupation engineer. In 1885 Robert was married in England to an ANNIE ELIZABETH PITTS and they emigrated to the US about 1888. RICHARD SHARP(his father), also an engineer Am hoping to find anything on a HANNAH VICTORIA SHARP (I have a strong suspicion she might be Robert's sister). All that is known about her at present is that she married a WILLIAM BURKE, had a daughter SYDNEY EMMA SHARP BURKE, born Dublin in 1891 and they emigrated to the US in approximately 1903. SYDNEY SHARP married a SAMUEL SHARP, son of the above Robert Joseph and Annie Elizabeth. At one point Sydney Emma told one of her granddaughters that perhaps the medical problems the family had was due to the fact that she married her first cousin (the basis for my suspicion that Hannah and Robert were siblings) Do believe that the Sharps were probably catholic. One of Sydney's daughters became a nun and one of the other daughters went to church every single day of her life. Am hoping that any of this might ring a bell with someone. Thank you for taking the time to read this rather long epistle. Pat, NY, USA
