I am trying to find more information about my paternal grandfather, Henry Jackson Atkinson, born Dublin, 1862. He entered Trinity College in 1879 but they have no record of his graduating although my father said that his father reckoned he was the only sergeant in the British Army with a Master's degree! Trinity told me that HJA's father's name was Charles. HJA served in the British Army in South Africa and Ismailia. My father was actually born in Cape Town in Nov. 1904. I know that HJA's wife was an Elizabeth Ann Hunt, born London either 1877 or 1878. HJA died in Southampton, England in 1930 and Elizabeth died in Staines, Middex in 1961. I would very much like to fiind out more about HJA's parents, siblings if any, etc. Plus I have tried to find his marriage but have been unsuccessful and also since I don't have an exact DoB for Elizabeth I am a bit stuck finding her family too.
