Bronwyn, There was an author Jane Barlow who died in 1917 in Dublin. She was the eldest daughter of Rev. James W. Barlow who was vice provost, Trinity College Dublin. The family lived at Raheny House, Raheny in north Dublin. This would have been a rural village at the time but is now part of suburban Dublin City. In 1904 she was I believe one of the first women to receive an honourary degree from the university. In the 1901 census the father's age is 74 and states he was born in Dublin City. Jane was 44 and born in Co Dublin. Other siblings were William 46, Katherine 43, John 39, James A. 36, Maurice 30.
