Diane O'Connell St, Nassau St, Capel St and Bishop St should be OK. I don't have a Grangegorman Lane on my maps. There's a Grangegorman without Road, Street or Lane near to Grangegorman Mental Hospital (formerly Grangegorman Prison) and Richmond Hospital on my 1920s map. My modern map shows the mental hospital as St Brendan's with Grangegorman Upper and Grangegorman Lower. There's a reference to a murder at Grangegorman Lane (number 11) at the following website : http://taint.org/2002/08/23/120951a.html and a reference to convicts from Grangegorman Lane at http://www.femalefactory.com.au/FFRG/pdfs/Waverley1842SR.pdf John -----Original Message----- From: irl-dublin-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:irl-dublin-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of DIANE TEMPEST Sent: 01 February 2007 11:47 To: irl-dublin@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [IRL-DUBLIN] PICTURES NEEDED Dear John, I had family in 19 Nassau Street, 10 Grangegorman Lane 43 Bishops Street 163 Capel Street 11 O connell Street. My ggggrandfather had a jeweler/watchmaker shop there and they lived above the shop and when I visited Ireland 6 years ago I managed to get a picture of that place. Since then I have found several other addresses for them from 1810-1850's but I have no idea if they are residences or shops. I did find a mortgage agreement between him and a Mr. Neil for the place on 34 Nassau so I suspect it may be a residence. I was wondering would anyone have pictures of the following address listed below? I'd be glad to pay for a copy. 89 Dame Street 30 Westmoreland St. 82 Grafton St. 34 Nassau St. 64 Micklenburg St. 11 South Anne St. 5 South Anne St. 27 Dawson St. Thank you in advance Michelle Wilson Green Mts. of Vermont ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to IRL-DUBLIN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to IRL-DUBLIN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to IRL-DUBLIN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
