Much to my surprise, I uncovered Naturalization papers for my great-great grandfather, Patrick Morgan. According to his application he was born in Dublin County on March 17, 1818 (likely not the actual date.) He emigrated in 1840 through New York arriving in Boston by 1849 at the latest. With this meagre bit of information, is there any way any one can recommend to narrow down the actual birth location?
