Hi Lou, I am also researching Gallaghers in Dublin. My GG Grandfather was named John and married GG Grandmother, nee Mary Smith. They owned a tobbaconist's at 32 Stoney Batter Road. Dublin census records indicate John Gallagher became deceased prior to 1901. On Mary's death certificate it says he was a Mason by profession. Her birthyear (1828) would make me think he was born in the 1820's. Are there any bells ringing for you with this? Susan
