    1. [IRL-DUBLIN] Murphy and Crennan
    2. Looking for two people: Catherine MURPHY [b. abt. 1837 according to 1860 U.S. Census, a native of Queens County (County Laois), Ireland, according to her Obituary). Her married name was Crennan or Crenan. Catherine was married to Michael CRAN??N (sic), a San Francisco hack driver, a native of Ireland [abt. 1839, according to what he told the 1860 U.S. Census]. We only have information (other than the above) on her children. We have been unable to locate anything on when she was married, when she emigrated, how she emigrated. In later census collections, or obituaries, it was noted that they had been born in the "Irish Free State." Around 1910 Maggie Crennan, her daughter, visited friends in Dunkineely, Donegal, Ireland. There might have been a connection. Jim Carroll j.j.carroll@earthlink.net
