Does anyone know if there is a register of nurses working in Ireland round about 1900? Trying to trace my grandfather's sister Elizabeth Troy who was born 17 Dec 1864 in Carrickbyrne, Wexford. Father was Patrick Troy, Mother Eleanor Leahy. Elizabeth became a nurse, moved to Dublin and married (not necessarily in that order) but her married name and where she studied is unknown to us. Elizabeth is the only one of Granddad's siblings who married, four having died in infancy/childhood and the other two sisters never married.
