    3. Greetings, This is partly for Shelagh and her connection to James and Mary O'Neil (nee: Power) of Dublin. Just wondered if you knew anything further of Mary's family? I have an ANNE POWER - born in Dublin in 1823. From what I can figure out...she too had family in Wexford in the Edermine area. I think her father was in the military. She married JAMES ROURKE sometime between 1939 and 1845 in Dublin. James was a tailor before he joined the R.A. in Dublin. Their childrens names were RICHARD, JOHN, ELIZABETH, ROSINA, JAMES JOSEPH and JAMES MICHAEL JOSEPH. James was stationed at Charlemont, Armagh at the time of the birth of their first born Richard. They then went from there to Bermuda, where they lived for 5 years or so...where the birth of Rosina and James took place...so the family went with him. He was then stationed in India and other places, so the family ended up living in Woolwich, England, and stayed here until his retirement. >From the naming of their children, it looks like they used the Irish naming pattern...naming after the parents etc., but I haven't been able to find which ROURKE / POWER family of Dublin they belonged to. Would love to hear from anyone with connections to these families...to find a fit for my James and Anne. Regards, Deborah
