    3. Hello listers, I have found a branch of my family in Dublin Ireland. My 3x gt grandfather was Michael MORRISON who is recorded as being born in Dublin Ireland c 1800. His father is recorded as Luke MORRISON, mariner. Michael emigrated to England and lived most of his life in Brighton Sussex. He married Margaret KEHOE there in 1845. They had 7 or 8 children. Any help with this family would be gratefully received. Lynley Chapman Whitby, Porirua New Zealand

    3. Nice to hear from another Morrison researcher. My Jannet Morrison ( b 1704-8 Ireland ) had a brother Robert and I think her father was also Robert. Jannet married a Hugh Moore. It would be nice if we could connect somewhere along the line. I will keep your information if you will keep mine. Gloria Moore. Calgary, Alberta, Canada. 3. Hello: I am researching John Alexander Morrison, a draughtsman, who married Mary Ann Holland in 1903 in Belfast Ireland. His father was also John Morrison and was a boiler maker. Thanks for a reply in advance. sdholland@mindspring.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gloria Moore" <gloriamoore@shaw.ca> To: <irl-dublin@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, June 06, 2007 8:45 PM Subject: Re: [IRL-DUBLIN] Luke MORRISON, mariner c1800 Dublin Ireland > Nice to hear from another Morrison researcher. 3. Hello Gloria, Thanks for your reply. I will certainly keep your email details. Oral family history here has always said we Morrisons are Scottish. It has been a real surprise to find an Irish connection but many Scots crossed the sea to Ireland so I suspect that further back in the generations we are Scottish. How I get past the Irish lack of records is yet to be tested. So far you are the only respondent to my posting! Good luck with the research Lynley in New Zealand ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gloria Moore" <gloriamoore@shaw.ca> To: <irl-dublin@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, June 07, 2007 12:45 PM Subject: Re: [IRL-DUBLIN] Luke MORRISON, mariner c1800 Dublin Ireland > Nice to hear from another Morrison researcher.
