Good Morning all On this very dull day here in England. I Noticed some mail item asking about the Dublin Directories, I hope these might be Trade Directories. If so I have a request, which I must admit is a very open ended one. PATRICK McCOY according to some Baptismal entries was in 1867 living in Upper Mercer St Dublin and his profession is given at TRIMMER. In 1870 he was living at Lad Lane, Dublin and was a COACH TRIMMER. In 1871 still living in Lad Lane but now a COACHMAN. Was there any record in the trade directories that might list people connected with the coach trade. I have a note that PATRICK McCOY died at the age of 84 but I have not been able to confirm that information so far {Family tales}. I wonder if they are in the 1901 or 1911 Dublin Census?
