Hi Cara, No, not Rose and Murray. The company is listed as plumbers in the directories and the earliest listing is Ross, Murray and McDougal. Don't have dates here at work, they exhibited in the 1841? Dublin Exhibition and also did reproductions of remaining celtic monuments. My ancestor, Peter Murray's occupation was wire worker and I am looking for a family link. My interest is fueled by a story told to us by a great uncle who returned to Ireland while serving with the Canadian forces during WWI. He met with the Murray family but was quickly asked to leave when his full identiy was known. The 'family business' was still thriving at that time according to his story. This is the second last family lore to be explored. So far others have had some truth to them. Thanks for the question.
