    3. What years does this index cover, please? Are there divisions, for example by religion? Looking for (George) HALPIN circa 1860, believed to have been buried at Mt Jerome. Indeed any Halpin entries would be of interest. Regards Bill.

    3. Go to familysearch they have filmed the indexes and registers. The indexes start in 1837 I think. Regards from Valerie in sunny Sydney. 3. Hello again Cara. No, the Halpins that I believe to be in Mt Jerome cemetery would have been buried around 1860, and before, and come from Dublin (and possibly Co Carlow). Don't know of a Mathew or Robert Halpin of Drogheda or Kingstown. As posted recently, from Shaw's 1850 Dublin Directory, George Halpin was a civil engineer living at 33 Lower Dorset Street and (presumably) his father, George Halpin Senior, resided at Lighthouse, North Wall. Best wishes and thanks for your help, Bill. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cara_Links" <cracker@hotkey.net.au> To: <irl-dublin@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, August 25, 2007 3:19 PM Subject: [IRL-DUBLIN] HALPIN NAME | Is very linked to Co Wicklow particularly Bray area have you looked there | yet? | Also you do not say who his mother was or his father so assume you may know | | But these two George Halpins appeared when I did a search | | George of Mathew Halpen and Mary Ann Lyones born 10/2/1869 Drogheda Louth | Ire | and | George Halpin of Robert Halpin and Mary Kelly born 16 11 1871 at KIngstown | he also had a sister Mary Anne born same place 10/12/1869 | Dublin | if not yours simply delete | | Cara | ----- Original Message ----- | From: "The Websters" <wbwebster@optusnet.com.au> | To: <irl-dublin@rootsweb.com> | Sent: Wednesday, August 22, 2007 3:32 PM | Subject: [IRL-DUBLIN] Mt Jerome Cemetery Index | | | > What years does this index cover, please?
