Hi Cara... Yeovil is in Somerset, England.? This young Samuel came to Ireland to work and married Maria Leslie.? Apparently, her father got him into some sort of debt and he wrote for help.? His letters are at the National Archives.? While I have learned a fair amount about his family, I cannot find out what happened to him or his wife and children.? While the marriage appears in a published list of marriages, so far the record has not been found. The records state that Maria was living on Henry St. in Dublin.? Leslie does seem more prevalent in Cork, and there are Rawlins' in Cork as well but this marriage took place in Dublin.? Thanks so much!
