Well firstly you will have to register or pick up a guest card, right hand side as you enter the door, desk is manned by Ten so be on time ------ Then you go upstairs, sign in ..........then you must go to the readers room and get a reader and then you need the number of the reader , leave something there while you go back to the desk to place your request for the microfilm you need to look at (Ahamalish) number is Pos.4602, and add your reader number as well. Films will not be left unless you are sitting at that numbered reader when they bring the film up for you. And no you cannot do printouts everything has to be written out in pencil ( pencils supplied ) but bring your own paper to write on. Anyone at the front desk upstairs will assist you, they are a friendly bunch. And you shouldnt go wrong, this is the method I used for 6 months and it never failed me, once only when the darn fire bell kept going off and I had to climb up and down the builders gantry to get out, and stand forever to get back in, got an all clear then finally got back in settled and it rang again......................those are the joys of memories Good luck may the god's be with you in your search.
