Thank you. I have been doing so much research of late that is pre civil registration that it never struck me that these births were in fact post civil registration. Can anyone help to more definitely identify the place or area of birth, equating with a present day street or suburb? This record helps confirm that the mother's father was BARTHOLOMEW WATERS, rather than Watters. Both surnames were prevalent around Carlow and Rathvilly at the time of her birth.
