Hi: My name is Jennifer Anjier & I have just joined the list. I am looking for information about FRANCIS STRINGER, who died in Dublin abt. 1815. His children were FRANCIS, THOMAS & ELIZABETH. According to family records, Elizabeth married Dr. Charles Duffy Feb. 6, 1806 at her Aunt Lucy Bell's house in Dublin. Elizabeth & Charles had 13 children in Kingston before she died abt. 1835 then he & the children went to live in North Carolina. The religion of the family was probably Church of Ireland. I believe that THOMAS STRINGER, a merchant in Armagh was the father of Francis. Also, that THOMAS, the son of Francis is listed in the King's Inns Admission Papers & was an attorney in Dublin.:- STRINGER, THOMAS, 2ND. S. OF Francis, Newbern, Province of Carolina, decd., and Anne McWain; over 16; ed. Newry; aft. Frances, Lieut.
