Dear Pat: Thanks for the reply, it is greatly appreciated. I live in the US and have found that families migrated to places where they had family. I do not know where Hannah Patricia was from. She could have been from Belfast-she could have been from Dublin-the same for the Holland family. That said this is what I think happened. Joseph Holland, f/o Joseph Anderson Holland, died 1900. Prior to the death of his father he worked for him. After his father's death in 1900 Joseph did not have a job so he went searching for work. I think either Patricia or Joseph had family in Dublin and they went there to live to be with family. The family of Joseph scattered like the wind after his father died. On his death certificate he is listed as "occupation-traveler" which is what we call a salesman today. Their daughter Mable Fitzgerald Holland married John Gordon Lewis in Belfast and in 1916 when Joseph, her father died, this couple lived in Cork City. Why? They had family close by I think. I work to fill in all the collertal lines of families. Just me. Have been at this for 30years. Please tuck away and if Matthew Murphy pops up any place please let me know.
