Hi Paula, I have a Hugh Cox, who was born in Co Cavan about 1848.. He was the 5th son of John Cox, Farmer, Co. Cavan. Hugh married Mary Quigly in Dublin in 1877 and they went to live in London. They had 3 sons killed in WW1, one of them was also Frederick. Perhaps your Frederick's father John and Hugh Cox were brothers? Not impossible, but possibly a long shot!! regards, Inga New Zealand ----- Original Message ----- From: <PaulaAKS@aol.com> To: <IRL-DUBLIN@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, July 18, 2007 4:35 AM Subject: [IRL-DUBLIN] COX family in 1915 Dear All. This is my first posting. I am trying to find the descendants of FREDERICK COX born in Belfast in 1892c who was killed in action at Gallipoli 21st August 1915. The last known address for his wife MARY and daughter NANCIE was 6 WINDMILL LANE, CRUMLIN, CO DUBLIN. Frederick (Fred) was the son of JOHN & MARY COX who later moved to Penrhyn Bay, Llandudno, North Wales. NANCIE is known to have visited her grandparents in North Wales in 1928. Yours in hope Paula - North Wales ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to IRL-DUBLIN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message -- No virus found in this incoming message.
