I have been looking for G Grand father THOMAS COLLINS, Think he was alive about 1882 when he was entered on his son's marriage Cert as THOMAS COLLINS profession Tailor. The son was MICHAEL COLLINS again born in Ireland about 1857 - 1861 and the marriage took place on 22 April 1882 in Co Durham UK. Were there Drapers Guilds in Ireland? The Drapers Company in London goes back to the 1400s or earlier and there was one in Amsterdam.
