Thomas Hughes was in the military in India and in those military records was his birthdate and place of birth. He married in India in 1851 to Jane STACK. She was born in India to a British military father. They has children in India, left for Ireland around 1860 and had a couple more children in Ireland. I know nothing else about the family in Ireland. I'm sure Thomas must have had more brother & sisters. They were Catholic. I'm waiting for a response from Glasnevin Cemetery about more details about the Thomas HUGHES buried there in 1868.
