    3. I need to pick a few brains and hope you don't mind. I have Frederick POOLE born about 1800, Dublin, a house painter, marrying Maria DRAKE. They had about 6 children between 1825 and 1841.....Frederick, Edward, Charles, Christopher, John and Charlotte. I believe Maria died in childbirth when her daughter Charlotte was born in January 1841. This is where it gets sticky.......... I know that Frederick married a second time. I have found a marriage of Frederick POOLE to Elizabeth ACTON, widow, in April 1841, Dublin. Frederick William Nasau POOLE, a house painter, and Elizabeth ACTON had children James William Nausa 1842; Margaret, 1843; Anna Maria, 1845 who died 1847; Letitia Vance 1848. Frederick doesn't appear in the 1851 head of household list for Dublin but in 1851 I find him in Finsbury, Middlesex with Elizabeth, son John from his previous marriage, Margaret, Letitia, and a Thomas age 1 born St Giles, Middlesex. All except Thomas were born in Dublin. I received Thomas's birth certificate and the father is Frederick William POOLE, house painter,.....mother is Elizabeth RICKERBY. Now, RICKERBY through me but a RICKERBY was a witness of Frederick's marriage to Elizabeth Acton in Dublin which makes me think her maiden name was RICKERBY. Also, finding them in Finsbury, Middlesex is just a few miles from where Frederick's son from his first marriage was living in Battersea. Now, how do I prove that the Frederick who married Maria DRAKE is the same Frederick who married Elizabeth ACTON/RICKERBY. What are the odds that both Fredericks were house painters? Any ideas would be much appreciated. Marg >From the Beautiful British Columbia Cariboo Region, Canada
