Hi Carol That was my next question. How do you access the parish registers? Are they available on line ? I'm in Australia and I'm finding my Irish research pretty difficult. Whilst I haven't found the exact relative I was looking for I think I have stumbled across a brother. Well at least that is my great hope anyway. My g g g grandmother and father had a son John Hastings Lynch and I have found reference to a John Hastings Babington ( My ggg grandmothers maiden name) and the time frame would work.....just a slim hope but maybe a piece of this puzzle that will help me unearth a little more. My interest in the name began with SPINK/S and DIGBY. Aboves data is from Civil Registrations in my files and Government papers in my files. and the Dublin Grant Book which I have partial hard copies of.
