    3. Hi Cara, Alfred was married to Annie who could have been Annie Stone. My grandfather was Frederick Ernest born ca 1886, he had two brothers named James/Jimmy and Albert/Bert. Frederick was a RC and fought in the 2nd Boer War, to date I could not find him in the Boer War as not all the attestation forms contains all the information. As I have mentioned earlier, I am so frustrated. Never the less, thank you so much for your kindness regarding Alfred and Mary - it is really much appreciated. Have a wonderful day, Regards from SA, Karin. Well I never saw the original mail =, which is nothing unusual these days with many hiccups happening But if Alfred Smith has sons who was he marreid to? 3. Good morning Margaret, Thank you for the e-mail received and encouragement regarding my Smith. I have done a search at the National Archives http://www.national.archsrch.gov.za and could only find these four with the name George Nixon Smith. (You might have tried the archives as well?) I have done it without the begin or end date. The first two are at the Cape Archives and the second at Pta. It might be worth your while looking at these documents, we never know. I don't know where to look for documents on policeman but I will try and find out. If I do come across anything regarding your Smith I will let you know. Enjoy a wonderful day, Karin. Hi Karin.
