I've still got four neatly morticed brick walls. 1. Robert Wentworth WADE b. ca 1793, d. 1870. A schoolmaster in Dublin all his life. COI. I would love to know where he was born and if he is at all related to the 'Clonebraney' Wades, as one of his descendants claimed. 2. Anne GIBBONS, his wife. I have nothing at all about Anne/Annie. I do not have their marriage but it must have been about 1828. I cannot find her death either. 3. Harriet WADE their daughter married William CLELLAND, 13 Oct 1868 in Co. Dublin. I cannot find them in the 1901 and 1911 Irish or UK or US Censuses. There were several William McClellands but no wife's name given. I cannot (yet!) find any likely children. 4. Harriet's sister Emily married Robert McCULLAGH on 6 Oct 1862, Dublin North. The 1911 gives a widowed coachman b. Co. Monaghan, COI, but I don't think he would have been Emily's husband - and I can't find a death. Robert and Emily were witnesses to a marriage in 1869 in St. Catherine, of a corporal of the 4th Royals of the Royal Barracks. Perhaps Robert was also a soldier. Not found in 1901, 1911 Censuses with or without the Mc. Nancy in NZ > All the best with your search and may that brick wall show some cracks, mine > are full of cracks, they just dont get past the mortar.
