    3. There is a Charles Maher and Mary Cleary in Kildare having children in 1868 There is also your Charles and Anne Mearns with Anna Maria in 1871 Charles Maher and Mary Garry having children in same area same time A John Maher is born to Charles Maher and Mary Garry in 17/4/1870 but other children are born to this couple Edward 1871 so that rules this John out to be yours Interesting enough the name is also indexed as Myers and Meir have you used this spelling as well. A Charles Maher and Annie McKeever have a child in Dublin in 1874 So there are lots of Charles ..........moving around. Pre 1845 are definately parish register hunts and this is of course where you all run into problems as you are not in Ireland to follow up in a parish register, for which I am most sorry about. I think I would see if someone would look through the registers of Naas and Carragh and see if they can locate your earlier Maher family, by chance. Sorry I cannot be of further assistance only to suggest you dont lose the path and keep trying. As it is not always the find that makes you smile but the hunt for the smile that creates the passion. Cheers for now Cara ----- Original Message ----- From: "anne vivienne power" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 07, 2011 7:42 PM Subject: [IRL-DUBLIN] IRL-DUBLIN my questions > > Please can anyone provide me a picture of 8 Bow Bridge, Ushers Quay, > Dublin? > > I have found my great uncle Charles Maher here in 1911 with second > wife Mary Ann > > after long time against a "wall".
