I am not related but the name has stuck in my head. Anne Maunsell 3rd daughter of Rev Dr. Maunsell and neice to LadyGlentworth at Limerick appeared in the Anthologia Hibernia on 6/1/1794 may have died late 1793. And under the spelling on Monsell appears Mrs I of William Monsell of Tiervoe son to Lord Glentworth at Limerick appeared in same source on 25/3/1794 and Mrs Monsell relict of John Monsell High Sheriff of Limerick 1861 died Limerick May 1794 Cara

Hello all, my name is Rachel and I am tracing my husbands family in Dublin. The name is Murray and they lived at 91 Cunliffe Ave, Dublin. in the 1920's. It was a large family and I know that his father's name was Peter who was the eldest and he had a younger brother called Michael, other siblings were Jerry, Liam, Moira there were more but we can't remember their names. Good evening all, After a Hot sunny day here is Cheltenham, England when we had our Church Faye. I am trying to locate more information of PATRICK McCOY who was marries to KATE WEBB. In the Birth registration of his daughter in Dublin in 1867 he proffers was described at a TRIMMER in !869 His profession was TRIMMER in 1870 his profession was COACH TRIMMER In 1871 his profession was COACHMAN There is also a JOHN McCOY also on a both registration has the Profession of COACH TRIMMER in 1871. JOHN might be a relation of PATRICK but we have to confirm this The real question is or was there a record of TRIMMERS, Coach TRIMMER COACH MAN such as a Profession or trade register or guild? If so where might I find these records of this organisation I have as yet not been able to find when he or his wife died but "family speak" suggest that it was in Dublin Any help or advice would be appreciated

From letters and post cards dated circa 1911. Alicia Byrne was somehow related to Catherine Hyland of Dublin as was a Lilly Ennis and a Mary Broadrick who is referred to as a second cousin and the daughter of "our great aunt Janis). Alicia Byrne's maiden name may have been Kelly. It is quite clear from the letters that the mother of Catherine Hyland and her sister died before 1911 and are definitely buried in a Dublin Cemetery. A Bridget Hyland died in Dublin in 1872. At one time I had the certificate but can no longer locate it. I know it told me nothing about her family etc. or where she was buried. My great great grandparents Patrick HYLAND and Bridget HAND HYLAND were living in Ballsbridge when they died in the mid 1800's. Gill, Take a look at the site 1837online.com. Look for the overseas records and then the GRO Birth Indicies. If like my gggrandfather who was Irish and served the British army your ancestors should be there too. I found births for his children born in Toronto Canada, New Castle Jamaica and Dublin in these files. The records are British not Irish even tho the birth was in Dublin. The list will give you enough information to request the registration certificate in England. Good luck! Can anyone help please? If a child was born to a serving soldier in Dublin on 6th August 1795 where would be a good place to start trying to find the record of the birth? It's presumed that the family lived near the royal Artillery Barracks. Any help really appreciated Thanks Gill
