I am searching for some record of the marriage of BRIDGET LEHANE b: 1864, Coolierher Co. Cork, to DENIS [?] LYNCH b: u/k. This marriage I am told took place at MAYFIELD RC Church, date u/k but I presume it was some time before 1912 as they are both shown as sponsors at the Baptism of an Aunt of mine in Ballyvourney. I have written twice to the Sacristan at the Mayfield RC Church but received no reply. Could anyone tell me please what would have been the name of the Catholic Church in that era? I believe there are 2 churches there now and both are of fairly recent construction. Many thanks Peggy Townsville Australia
