Having stumbled upon this list, I am hoping some kind souls will be able to assist me in finding some more of my roots. My grandfather was born in 1871 (Martin Murray) it is said that he was disowned by his family because he woul not go into the priesthood. He made his way to Manchester where he married my grandmother. The only information I have is-; His father was Patrick Murray. His home was Murrays Model Farm, Cork. I am aware that there is a Model Farm Industrial Estate just outside Cork. Verbal history is that all his letters were returned unopened.
