Hello all, I just wanted to mention that, although well entended, the photo on this linked page is that of St. Finbarr's West! Along with this, the correct name of the church/parish is, Imaculate Conception aka, "The Lough Chapel" I know this is strange but, on my father's baptismal certificate it actually says "St. Finbarr's West". On one occasion when I was in Cork, I showed this to Joe ORiely and he was shocked. Even he did not know that 'The Lough Chapel' was once known as St. Finbarr's West. The South Chapel is 'St. Finbarr's' on Dunbar Street and yes, my cousin Therese is correct, it is Joe ORiely who is generous enough to do the research. (It's always nice to send a 'donation'!)
