Hi Susan, Hope you don't mind me putting in my two cents worth. North St. in Cork no longer exists. It and a number of other streets were demolished in the latter half of the 1900s and now form part of a shopping centre in the Merchant's Quay area of Cork. Regards. Brendan Jones. ----- Original Message ----- From: Alan Patterson To: IRL-CORK-CITY-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Monday, October 15, 2001 12:48 AM Subject: Re: IRL-CORK-CITY-D Digest V01 #83 Dear Donnacha, My ancestor, Jane Acteson, wrote her will about 1840 and said she lived in North St. Cork. Is there any way of finding out which was her house? Through her will I have names of several people in Cork: they are not relatives but I think it would be fun to list names of people of certain periods in Cork so that others may find them and/or a picture of a society could perhaps be built up: do you think it would be a popular offering of this list or am I a dreamboat? Yours sincerely, Susan Patterson -----Original Message----- From: IRL-CORK-CITY-D-request@rootsweb.com <IRL-CORK-CITY-D-request@rootsweb.com> To: IRL-CORK-CITY-D@rootsweb.com <IRL-CORK-CITY-D@rootsweb.com> Date: Monday, 15 October 2001 8:08 Subject: IRL-CORK-CITY-D Digest V01 #83
